Description   Made in the 1920's-'30's in the Gablonz region of Czechoslovakia, this glass cabochon typifies the Egyptian Revival design movement of the day. Flat opaque blue glass with an intricately incised design of a Sphinx in front of pyramids and a radiant sun. Hieroglyphic symbols below. Applied Chartreuse Green coloration. Measures 32.5mm in diameter x 3.5mm thick. Flat unfinished back. No hole. Only one available.
