Description   Stunning antique glass cabochon is actually made of two separate pieces.  The base is opaque black glass in a stylized feather design. It's meticulously molded detail looks like tiny faceted Marcasite within a granulated setting. Applied burnished metallic Silver coloration gives it the most realistic effect.  The round portion is recessed and inset with a separate small domed matte Jet Black glass stone. It is as perfectly molded as the main portion, with concentric rows of the tiniest raised dots. Looks like the center of a Sunflower ! Flat back. 22mm x 9mm. Some wear on the Silver, but the overall appearance is absolutely wonderful. A fantastic collector's piece. Very limited.
